Weddings in Spain
Summer months out here can be really hot, with the winter months still seeing up to 25 degrees during the day, which means that getting married in Spain is a great idea all year round! Additionally, weddings happen frequently on any day of the week, including Sundays, so don't necessarily think about getting married on just a Friday or Saturday, like in the UK. Parties happen all the time here, no matter the day!
It is usual for weddings in Spain to be a celebration of a happy couple coming together, although the legal side of the marriage is usually done in England prior to (or sometimes after) the 'wedding' in Spain. Each couple decides what happens at their individual celebration, but there is usually still a service lead by a celebrant, with an exchange of rings and vows; photos taken to mark the special occasion; a wedding reception including a seated meal; a wedding cake to cut and partying in the small hours!
Weddings can legally take place in Spain for English couples, but there are a few things that need to be in place first. Please speak to us about your personal requirements.
